Cross-Chain
Interactions, transactions, or asset transfers between different blockchain networks.
In-Depth Explanation
The multi-chain world requires moving assets and messages across chains. Cross-chain solutions include bridges (lock/mint), messaging protocols (LayerZero, Wormhole), and chain-agnostic applications. Cross-chain interactions are technically challenging and introduce security risks—bridges are frequent hack targets. True interoperability remains an unsolved problem.
