Daily Active Users(DAU)
The number of unique wallet addresses interacting with a protocol in a 24-hour period.
In-Depth Explanation
DAU measures engagement but has caveats in crypto: one person can control multiple wallets (inflating counts), and bots/farmers may dominate activity. More meaningful when combined with transaction value or compared to incentive spend. DAU/MAU ratio indicates user stickiness—higher ratios suggest habitual usage rather than one-time visits.
