Gas Limit
The maximum amount of gas a user is willing to spend on a transaction.
In-Depth Explanation
Gas limit protects against unexpectedly expensive transactions. If execution requires more gas than the limit, the transaction fails (but still consumes gas up to the limit). Simple transfers need ~21,000 gas; complex DeFi interactions may need 500,000+. Setting gas limit too low causes failures; too high is fine—unused gas is refunded.
